First of all I want to thank each and everyone of you for replying to my quest in breeding a yorkie once.
I am well educated on everything you guys said, and now that it is in print I can send it to my girlfriend who doesn't believe me when I told her that the only way we can breed Chiquita is with an assisted birth by a vet. Lorraine, the remark about Chiquita not being breed standards, I bought her because she was blonde, I don't care if she doesn't have the standard color and I am not breeding her to sell so I can make back my $2000.00. And if someone were to offer me $10,000.00 I would not ever consider it. I paid $2000.00 because she was everything I wanted in a puppie. Chiquita is my third yorkie. My other two male yorkies were champions from their father Dinner Jack in the 70's. He was a world champion. Everything else I agree totally. I am so grateful that I found this site, you are all wonderful and you helped me help my friend know that we can not just breed her and let her deliver her own puppies. My girlfriend was told by a breeder that she doesn't have to do anything the dog will deliver her own puppies. I have since talked to my friend and we are going to make appointments with the right vet to deliver our little Chiquita's babies. THANKS AGAIN I LOVE THIS SITE.
