[Potter]

Hi, does anyone know a better way to train puppy to be left alone at home for about 2-3 hours? I am usually at home, only once every few days I have to go out and puppy hates to be left alone. I tried leaving him for a couple of minutes. At first it works and then a few more times, it doesn't work. Even if my hubby is at home with him and I am out, he whines and for 20 minutes that is! So, when we went out today, I used puppy gates so that he has a run of the kitchen and I left his crate there as well just in case he wants to sleep. When I came home, he is out of the area! I don't know how he did it and I really don't know how to train him so that he won't have anxiety problem when we go out. I leave kong toy with treats for him but he will only get to it when I am home and not when I am out *sigh*

when I go out, I worried about him so much that I quicky do whatever I need to do and rush home.

If I bring him out, leave him in a crate in the car, I am sure he will whine and cry. It breaks my heart and not everywhere I can bring him along.

Does anyone else have the same problem leaving their puppy or am I the only one..I feel weird coz if my friends sees it, they will say I am over worried.
