We tried the pee pad in the box thing. I think he is one of the dogs that won't pee and poop in the same place. So his pee pad is next to his litter box. He will pee on the pee pad, so I'm not worried about his peeing. It is mainly his pooping. And as for the pee pad in the litter box.. we tried that and he was like umm okay why did you put that there I'm not going in there. And then I read some dogs like to see their poop where they go so they know that they can go there. So when he had an accident I would pick up the poop and put it in the littter box on the pee pad. Then he would use his nose and fold over the pee pad.
He is sooooo stubborn! But then again I know this is part my fault too because I haven't been as consistent as I should have been when I first got him... it's just so hard to get mad at someone with those little eyes!!! |
