I want to say this nicely ....but reading where someone said spank her got my attention - That is NOT the way to go - I'd freak if someone had ever laid a hand on my kids....to me - that's unforgivable and I don't care what they did - NO one lays a hand on my kids - ever.
No matter how she's acting - or any other child for that matter - hitting a child is wrong - ESPECIALLY someone else's child.
Willow - what that boy did was wrong - but what you did was wrong too. I can't even imagine picking up someone's CHILD and doing that. I know some people are raised that way but man - that just promotes violence. It may get their attention - but it brings you right down to that level. there are many other ways to handle kids that are out of control and to tell you the truth - if it were my family and someone did that to my kid - I'd have nothing to do with that person again.
