 late docking
They can dock a tail at any time if the dog is under anethesia. I saw a large dog (on animal planet) taken in for a docking when he was full grown. His tail was as big as my arm and it seemed more like an amputation to me, but they said everyone was miserable in the house with this giant tail destroying everything. He left the vets office the same day with this wrapped stump wagging like crazy. |
