I can't remember if I have posted this so forgive me if I have!!

Romeo stays in our bathroom during the day while we are not home. His food and water is left in there throughout the day as well. He doesnt seem to touch his food until we come home and then he eats like he is starving! So we can hear him in the bathroom "crunch, chruch, pause. crunch, crunch pause.",,,then it stops and all of the sudden I hear a "ting, ting, ting". My husband and I go in the restroom to see what the sound is and find Romeo standing over his EMPTY food bowl, tapping it with his nails as if to say "FILL IT UP PLEASE!!!" He will "ting ting" and then look at us, "ting ting" then look at us. These little guys are wayyyyy too smart!!!

my romeo does the same thing. he starves himself when i leave him alone. then pigs out. lol...
