Oh gee, If I have offended, I've doubled it now. I was trying to edit my post to say that at times I've used the word bride, I should have said new mother or mom to be. I think I thought in the terms of bride because this is usually only done for the first time mother. I guess in our pompous little world, all subsequent children used hand me downs!
I hope I have had my tonque in my cheek but I am afraid it may have been my foot in my mouth instead. Please pardon my trampling all over your post. |
