Totally nutz! This story starts out a year ago or so. I'd had this Visa card and very seldom used it because I only charge what I know I can pay off that same month, and at the most, only used it for internet buying. Anyway, I started getting statements with a charge on them...28 cents. I had no idea what that was for, so I just paid it, thinking I must not have gotten the payment sent in time and this was the service fee. The next month, I didn't charge anything on that card, but got a bill for 28 cents. I wasn't going to write a check for that amount, so put 28 cents in an envelope and sent it to them along with a letter asking what the 28 cent charge was for. I got a letter back from them saying they had received my cash payment and to please not send payment in cash again. No answer to my question. Next month comes and yep...another credit card bill for 28 cents. This time I cut up the stink'n credit card and wrote them a letter telling them to cancel immediately and enclosed 33 cents cash...I gave them a nickel extra just to screw up their books. Okay...so this all happened about a year ago and today in the mail I got a letter from them saying: Attached is a refund check for the credit balance on your account. Guess what the check is for...3 cents! Hahahaha...they wrote me a check for $*****.03** Under that amount it says..."Not valid for more than $10,000.00. Wonder where my other two cents is. Good grief!!! ROFLMAO |
