Gracie really freaks out when I bring out the brush or comb. I guess I got a bit rough before with the tangles. I am so used to cats that don't scream with every little thing. Anyway, I have been working with her, using a bristle brush very gently, twice a day, and she is getting better. She hates the feel of the teeth of a comb or a pin brush against her skin. I did use the pin brush after her bath. I used some cowboy magic while she was wet and not one flinch or scream!
