Dougal still does this - he's been neutered for over a year.
He was entire when Dixie came into her first season but I decided not to breed them and got him neutered. He still has his urges - but at least Dixie doesn't get covered in a sticky mess anymore!
I find that it's the best way to tell when Dixie's coming into heat!
