Oh Patti! I do believe that your beloved Cassie is watching over you! How wonderful! I am so glad that no one got hurt! I read that most animals, when they are hunting, they are just locked on one thing....their prey in front of them. That poor Quail was probably so scared...I am glad it swerved around you.

Hawks are all over here too! We hear them all the time......a few months ago, we watched two babies learning to fly.....it was pretty neat....they are pretty birds, but dangerous to our little furbabies!
