I have a 901b, 15 year old Chow/Retriever mix, Homer, and he eats the Mature Adult Pedigree dry. I keep his food on one level of my house and Jack's on another. Whenever Jack can sneak up to Homer's food he will, and if I don't catch him he will heat whatever he can fill his tummy with. He has been doing this for a couple of months (he is 7 months now) and it doesn't seem to hurt him. He sure gets mad at Homer though when Homer takes a bee line for Jack's food.
