I love Winnie the Pooh. Eyore is my favorite character. The reason for the quote is because my kids used to call our old rottie, Eyore cause he always had that Oh woes me look on his face and when he passed away the quote just seemed to fit because he fought cancer really hard before letting go.
As for the stories. I do have a ton of them from my experiences with dogs. I am not that old "in my mind" and I have seen and dealt with many things already in my life when it comes to animals.
