Yes the meal plan was free because we went in the off season and instead of discounting the resort fee they gave you the meal plan. You can still get it other times but you have to pay for it which is what we will do when we go back in February. I liked the Caribbean I just want to stay at Polynesian, the Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Port Orleans. So every time we go we are going to pick out a different resort. I really liked the carribean's food court though and they had a nice gift shop. The last day we were there we just hung out at the resort and swam and rented mouse boats and went around the lake
