I have a Canon 10D digital camera. The lights are studio lights. The secret to freezing their movements is to use a fast shutter speed or a flash. I usually have a treat in my hand to get their attention to look at the camera. With a digital you don't have the expense of film so I take lots of pictures and usually get one that looks good.
