yes, you are right about the wormers not catching the horse parasites, even though she told me she wormed him.
where do the parasites go to in a dog?

If she told you that you had two weeks, then I guess I would ask her if she would cover the cost of the vet bill. That is where you need to start, you won't know until you ask.
