Every dog show I have attended has strict rules that no dogs are allowed on the grounds unless registered for the show. Although i could not tell you how many times owner handler have brought the "best bud" of their dog they were showing. But they were always in top condition (coat wise) and in an x-pen, who would know? But a non-show dog would stick out like a sore thumb.
I don't think I would want to take my two with me, I want to pay attnetion to those in the ring and getting ready!
