I guess it would depend to me on how much I paid for the dog. If she sold it really cheap because it was 14 months old and the treatment isn't too expensive, I would just chalk it up to experience and be glad the vet found it so early. The other thing I would be concerned about is if you have other animals that this one has been around, you might need to treat all of them which might increase your costs. Usually just a routine worming is not that costly and the vet might just give you the medicine for your other animals. Good luck to you and keep us updated.
