Oh Lora, what is it with these husbands!!!
Mine was in the hospital too, a couple of weeks ago. He went into atrial fibrillation with a heart rate of 140!!!
They had to shock his heart to get it back to a normal rhythm. The fast rate made his heart failure flare up and he could hardly breathe and hardly even get to the bathroom. They pulled lots of fluid off his lungs, but pulled too much off and put him into renal failure. He is getting much much better now, but it will take him several weeks to get back on his feet like he was.
This is all to say, stick close to your husband and question everything that you need to.
