when my Pete was a puppy he would bite hard, so i started the yelping technique. I only yelped when it hurt because i dont mind the play bite as long as it doesnt hurt. anyways i would yelp and stop play time. hes now 1.5yrs and he still play bites but very gently with almost no pressure cause he knows play time will be over if he hurts me. good luck
