Here's a link with pics of the Yorkie standard. It shows what the standard is by pics so it is very informative for new Yorkie owners. Blue is definitely not silver, but not black. Here's is a pic that represents what blue looks like. I believe it to be a blue and tan from the way it looks on my monitor.
