It sucks becuase I am afraid to take her to other people's homes. She sleeps with us as well, and is crated during the day. I think the advice about watching them every minute is vital and also REALLY challenging. I am the only person who has to go out in the rain or at night. But I sure hear about it when there is an accident!! I don't know where you are posting from, but i am in Toronto and dreading the winter cuz I don't know how I will get her to go out at all!!! Have you heard of anyone litter training Yorkies?
Good luck and thanks for your post, |
I dunno if you were talking to me or not...lol. I live in NY. I am afraid to take Oliver to other homes too. Strangely, he is "usually" pretty good if he is on the couch with someone. So, he is on the couch with us a lot of the time while he is out of the crate but now he is getting "brave" and jumping off the couch....lol....even though I tell him to stay..(I gotta start training for him) Are you referring to your hubbie with taking him out in the rain, lol. Mine, once he is in his pajamas refuses to take him out cause he doesn't want the neighbors to see him...me on the other hand, I just take him out in my pj's anytime...lol. the winter is gonna be the worst..here in NY too. The only good thing is that he doesn't seem to dawdle as much in rain ...soo far......
