You are not alone. I took my first pupternity leave when I bought my maltese Bentley about 3 1/2 years ago and then again about a year and a half ago when I brought Mia home. I have also been known to call in sick if one of my pupsters becomes sick. Someone has to keep an eye on them and it might as well be me. I have even taken some of my personal days to stay home with them.
