Anyway, I'm sorry to hear Sadie is not well and unfortunately I have not came across something like this, but I have done the run around with the vet office that I had been with for about 15 yrs.
I like you got on the Internet and search to help, I found a gentleman in my area that I spoke to for hours and he suggested I go to a new vet. He contacted other yorkie owners in my area for a new vet for me.
They recommended VCA Animal Hospital...they did blood work, x rays (even requested old x rays and chart), and they did a EKG using the phone line to the University of Chicago vet heart specialist. I was so grateful for the interest they showed for Buffy's health.
So what I'm trying to say is go to a new vet!!!
