I think everyone who does not have one of these should get one...I must admit that before Hurricane Katrina hit down south I never really thought about this, then I realized that my area is overdue for a serious earthquake and we definetly needed one, so I made one with Bruce's picture myself on the computer and it was super easy. I think everyone should make a disaster kit for their dogs' to go along with their own as well. Here is what I put in Bruce's
1) a pet first aid kid and book that was like $12 at Petsmart; (2) 3 pounds of his kibble amd travel bowls; (3) extra water; (4) Pee Pads; (5) poo poo bags; (6) dishes; (7) an extra harness & leash; (8) a sweatshirt; (9) photo copies of his medical records and license records as well as recent photos of him; and I shoved it all in a hard carrier and put it with my other supply stuff. The ASPCA has good tips!
