I thought the same thing. Chewie is going to be one this month and still had accidents. But when I realized that it was "me" being trained to take him out on a regular basis and not get lazy about it, he started doing good again. They want to please and it just takes persistance on our part. My dogs are crate trained, too. Just keep up the good work and be positive about doing a good thing. Another idea, Chewie liked to poop on the rugs , so I put a rug outside the doggie door and he started to poop on it everyday.
