I just saw this and I am so glad Tia is ok. What a scare! I often what it would be like to be as small as our babies and live in a world of giants with big feet. All they want is to be petted and what do we do? Step on them, kick them, trip over them, sit on them (I accidently sat on my bird one time, but luckily the couch was cushy so all he did was squawk at me), and drop things on them - at least at my house, we do.
I'll bet your DH is sure happy no harm came to Tia.
