I would love lots of dogs -- I can't get enough of them!! But realistically, 3 is my limit. I can afford to have many dogs but my time does not permit it. If I had more then 3, I fear they would be neglected ... NOT physically, but emotionally. Hubby and I both work full time. Hubby goes home on his hour lunch break every day to see the babies and play with them (on certain days he even brings them to work with him). Then we devote our evenings to them. With 3 dogs it's ok because I can still hold them individually and kiss them individually and give them PERSONAL time with mommy. I know my limits and it wouldn't be fair for me to get a 4th or 5th dog and not give it my all.
