I bought a cat door. It's pretty small. Millie gets in and out of it pretty good. She is 6 lbs though. My cat is 13 lbs and she gets in and out of it good too. I liked it better than the soft plastic "flaps" because it is a hard clear plastic with a frame and does work on keeping the outside air out.
