Connie, thank you for posting the link...just read through the whole thing & OMG I'm so sick over this! I cannot even imagine what I'd be feeling if this happened to Max. The new vet sounds like an angel & Scruffy is now in good hands for his care. Lorna must be overwhelmed & she's in my thoughts & prayers to get Scruffy through this ordeal & to follow through with any legal action she can against the 1st vet. I just can't help but think if this were truly an accident, the 1st vet would have taken her calls, would have done anything & everything to make amends (as if that's even possible...but I bet you know what I mean)...would be in constant contact with the new vet, paying those bills without hesitation; getting new equipment & training all the staff, etc...anyway, I hope this all works out for everyone & ends with Scruffy, Daisy, and any other dogs involved living long & healthy lives.
