Did you have the vet look at the incision? I surely wouldn't trust the tech's opinion on something like that. I give my son's lab mix Dramamine for car trips as she gets sick, but she's between 35-40 pounds. I'd check with the vet for little dogs, don't want to overdose them. I've found in the past that the more they ride in the car, the less prone to getting sick they get. Try taking her on little trips close to home before venturing out on a cross-country.
