Yorkies do not shed, but they will lose their puppy hair and it is replaced with the silk permant coat. Your pup may be losing the puppyhair. True silk coated yorkies have a thinner coat than the cotton yorkies. Keep an eye on your pup, if he loses too much hair consult a vet. Loss of hair could also be a medical problem, but your pup is very young yet so it just may be normal. |
