Be careful because you don't know where the cheap ones come from. I buy Merrick because they are USDA beef and made in the USA. I pay about $5 for a 12" one and I usually buy 6 at a time from Merrick and I get free shipping.
A local dog store I just found has locally made ones for about $4 each but I don't know the brand name and I don't know if they can be found online or not.
The other bonus is that the Merrick ones do not smell like the nasty cheap ones from Petsmart. I mean if you SMELL the stick it smells like beef jerky, but the don't make the whole room smell. |
