I asked our vet about this yesterday and told her that my boyz don't get boarded and they really aren't around other dogs so what would be the purpose? She said that bringing them into the office would be a possible exposure risk and so would a grooming place if another dog had been in with kennel cough. She also said they've been seeing a few cases lately but they will go out to the car to treat or even make a house call so the risk of exposure to others would be minimal. I didn't get Riley the Lepto or Bordatella shot and they're really pushing the Lepto now. I'll have titers done before their next set of shots to see if they even need them. |
