In the beginning we were keeping her cut the traditional way with the skirt, but she became very overweight (at one point she weighed
close to 60 lbs!
) as old age approached her. As I'm sure you know since Oklahoma is our next door neighbor, lol...it is very hot here in South, TX and any time we would let her out to go to the bathroom, she would just pant and pant and pant. My poor baby
So we ended up just keeping her shaved down. I absolutely
love the skirts, but her being shaved was better
for her. She had a much easier time
