We take loooooooong walks and play, play, play! Kacee will be 18 months on the ninth. It does take time to make an adjustment and as someone mentioned previously, it depends on what his life was like before you got him. You might try getting on the floor (at his level) with a ball or other toy and see if you can get him interested. Try carrying him around, even outside, and see if he doesn't become bonded to you and understands that he is safe with you.
