You train them for car rides by starting to take them on short, short rides when you first get them. You can take them to quiet places, such as parks, etc...Then just keep increasing the time and take them to new places as time goes on. Is yours still a tiny baby? They also have nausea medicine you can give them, but I've never had any that needed it. Muffin got car sick when she was tiny. She'd throw up every time we got in the car for awhile. Just kept taking her and it went away. She loved to go for rides. Just don't feed them for a couple of hours before you put them in the car until you are sure they won't get car sick.
