Our yorkie has never had an ear infection, but our miniature poodle had them non stop for 3 years. Always scratching his ear and it stunk. Our vet kept giving us antibiotic ear drops. The last one was so bad he developed a huge cyst under his ear. I did some internet research and found a product called Zymox. I asked the vet if they sold it and they no, but they could order it. They also said don't waste our money, it won't work. Well, I ordered it and Toby has been totally infection free for about three months now. We put it in his ear once a day for 10 days, then once a week since. It is wonderful stuff. |
