I know what you mean what it comes to these little furbabies...I have 2 of them and don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to either one of them. If he was running with the stick in his mouth maybe it cut the back of this throat...I would just keep an eye on him and if he doesn't eat tomorrow I would call your vet. I'm sure he is going to be fine...
