Best Fur Daddy Ever Our Comic was put to sleep today. Our yorkie Mya thought he was her Daddy. He was so good with all the foster dogs I cared for. Two days ago my husband came home to find little Mya in Comic's huge bed....and Comic laying with his head in her bed. He was in pain but that was the kind of dog he was.
He was born without a hip socket and snapped the tendon on one side 5 years ago....he kept going. He saved my daughter and myself when an intruder tried to break in the house. If anyone raised their voice to child or dog he would let out a low growl. He was a fur ball and protector. His other hip finally gave way. He was screaming in pain. Our vet was wonderful giving him pain killers first, putting him in a Coma next then putting to sleep.
Our vet canceled a surgery for use and spent over a half hour with us.
Comic loved carrots....he would take them out of the grocery bag when un packing the car and as soon as the refrigerator was open he would stick his head in to get one. He would choose the carrot over meat. Today he did not want one. We knew it was time to let him go. To those wondering if we got our yorkie blonde male pup that was due to born ,he did not make it. We are holding Mya close. |
