benefit-of-a-doubt time...I don't think that the lady was trying to be rude or anything. She was just pointing out what she saw. You don't have to use her as a groomer, you could just find another. We had to shop around to find a good groomer. The one we had closed up her business. I used a local feed store and they did a horrible job and charged me $60! I usually just do my own from shaving their butts, tipping their ears, pulling ear hairs, paws, pads. It's not hard once you get the hang of it.
