My 12 week old puppy has had several clumps of hair fall out. There are even some sparse areas on him from this. His hair is kind of matty in some places even with brushing.

Is this normal? The exposed skin area does not appear reddened or no evidence of rash is noted.

I was under the impression that Yorkies were not supposed to shed but this is not just shedding, it it actual clumps.

Again, any help is appreciated!!
