Okay I'm stillon my hunt for my little Maltese. i must have contacted 15 breeders yesterday

I'm trying to narrown things down.

I've come up witha list a questions that the breeder must answer

Do you have pictures of her parents?
How long have you been breeding?
What registration does she come with?
Are they paper trained or litter trained when they go home?
Are the dogs kept in your home or in kennels?
What type of food do you feed your dogs and puppies?
Will she have a shot record?
Could you please give me some references of other families who have purchased puppies from you?
What type of contract, conditions or guarantees are involved in the sale of the Maltese puppy?
Can she be checked for LP and hernias before she is shipped?
Could you give me your primary vet's number

And these are the responses I've gotten back

Not a problem at all! Absolutely no offense taken...You need to do your research!
-I am listing little Beth for the breeders. They are an Amish family and I have been listing for them for about 6 months. They are really wonderful people. I go out and take the pictures for them in hopes to get these babies in family homes.
-I didn't take any pictures of her parents when I was out there Thursday. But the mom is as cute as can be!
-Beth is APR registered.
-She will not be paper trained or litter trained and would need to be worked with on that when she gets to your home.
-They have a small kennel at their house. Beth is in an indoor/outdoor kennel and would be considered crate trained.
-I believe they feed Nutri Source Pet Food.
-Absolutely, she will have a shot record and it will be mailed to you along with the registration papers, so that they don't get lost on the crate.
-Here is a girl that just got a Silky from the Troyers on Tuesday-
Wanda Rodriguez- spukstypes@yahoo.com
Marlon Cooper- marlon.cooper1@us.army.mil
-Beth comes with a one-year guarantee aginst congenetial defects. I can go ahead and attach it for you in this email.
-She does not have any hernias. If one were to pop up, the Troyers would go ahead and have it repaired for her.
-Dr. Charles Dake, DVM- 417-452-3301, you can ask the vet about Dwayne Troyer and make sure he takes his animals there and whatever else you would like to know.
-One more thing, you are welcome to call Dwayne (the breeder) at anytime you would like, if you need answers directly from him. 000-000-000, and my number is 000-000-000. Thanks a bunch! Jill

This is Beth
