I am not sure how common false pregnancies are. But my mom's dog is just now coming out of a false pregnancy. She have the whole false pregnancy. Her stomach got bigger, her teats got fuller and she even developed milk. Then she adopted a ball as her puppy and carried it around everywhere and was very protective of it. It is so sad to see her go through this. She was scheduled to be spayed but then she came in heat and we were told to wait until she was out of heat. As she was coming out of heat she started the false pregnancy. So we have had a chance to spay her yet.
We are finallly going to be able to spay her in about a week or so.
