It's OK to disagree with me, but give the book a read if you get a chance. Actually computers and internet access are pretty much available everywhere these days. I can pick up a PC on heavy item trash day off the street. The things these African countries lack is food, clean water, health care, and opportunity. Any opportunity has been lost because of corrupt government. (In fact, there is enough food, but due to corruption, it is sold to the highest bidder, so the food sent by the US and others ends up enriching the corrupt officials). The average person--especially the average African woman, doesn't stand a chance. It is very sad. Africa is in crisis. These scamming emails are just a symptom of a much larger problem.
