I think he's fine - both my dogs have quite yellow urine - if it was clear, then I would wonder... Maybe you're thinking of the rule of thumb for people? That if your urine isn't clear you're dehydrated and need to drink more water? I don't believe it works that way for dogs - someone correct me if I'm wrong here... Yellow pee is normal - if it's DARK DARK (like almost a brownish or reddish tinge to it) then I would be taking a sample into the vet. As far as the 'spurting' at the end of the pee, this is normal too - my boy does it and often 'dribbles' as he's walking away from it too, which is just lovely, lol.
