I have a very old AKC book - that I had as a child. I'm going hunting for it and see what the Yorkie standard was "way back then" -- it would be interesting to compare to today's standards -- and, for all I know - maybe there has been no change.

it was changed, there was 2 yorkie sizes in showing, the larger size was dropped as not enough people wanted to show the larger size. if you look this up you will see.
