I have a very old AKC book - that I had as a child. I'm going hunting for it and see what the Yorkie standard was "way back then" -- it would be interesting to compare to today's standards -- and, for all I know - maybe there has been no change.

That will be so interesting if you can find the book. I'll be checking back to see....I love history, no matter what it's about. I think the breed standards are fine the way they are too.
