The Prozac does help me with no side effects, unless you call losing some weight a side effect! I was on Effexor XR before, but I gained a lot of weight very quickly and it made me even more tired. |
I have been diagnosed with clinical depression and this was right after my husband passed away 4 years ago ... I ran the gamut of anti depressants ... now I am on WELLBUTRIN and LEXAPRO and still do not want to leave my house ... I just returned my leased 2004 car with only 6,000 miles on it .... And I had it for 39 months .... Enuf said.
Recently the doctors said I was hypothyroid also .... So now I am on Syntroid .... I still feel "down" .... All I go out for are my doctor appointments and for Monday's grooming appts. ... I even found a supermarket on line that delivers ... My sweet Yorkie is piddle pad trained ... and she gets out when my daughter takes her.
I did go to the mall Thursday night to help my daughter pick out a dress for a wedding ... and I was anxious all the time ... took Xanax before I left the house. And the whole time I was there I was cold and clammy, and wanted to just leave ... tried to hang in there for my daughter, and I did.. we picked a nice dress. And i almost cried when she said she wanted to look for shoes. I told her I had to get home ...
I can understand
Lacy's Mom ... and I hope I never get to the point Kathryn did ... shez lucky to have so many good friends on here.
I joined a local Yorkie group that meets for playdates ... the first one is Oct. 8 in the SOHO district of Manhattan. I am so scared but I am hoping to force myself to go .... I used to be a gregarious person ... now I am reclusive.
Didn't mean to ramble on, but this kind of "illness" is more common that you think. I am glad Kathryn has her husband to help her ...
Seems all my friends have moved away, drifted away, or passed away. I enjoy YT ... sometimes i contribute and sometimes I just read and learn ...
