IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!!!! I would not be surprised if it's not the same person that scammed me. Her name was supposedly Amber, her husband's name is James (notice the name in the email address you were given!), the vets name was Jeremiah Thomas and the friend referred me to Amber, who is: " a good Christian woman doing missionary work, that is my childhood freind"; her name is supposedly Brenda McDonald, who lives in LA.

I have pasted the initial email that I got from Amber, right after I inquired about the puppies.

Here is a copy of the email I received:

Hello,
i have 2 female and 1 male yorkie i am willing to give out to a good home for adoption, the females presently weighs about 2.2 lb and will estimated to weigh between 3 lb to 4 lb at maturity while the male weighs 2.5lb and are estimated to weigh between 4 to 5lb at maturity.the females is 3 months old while the male is 3 months old .the cost of adopting each of the yorkshire terrier is free and shipping is $250,My babies are so animated and will keep you entertained for hours. Each of them has their own distinct personality.
Loving and very affectionate personalites are standard with each of the yorkies.
They are very affectionate and like to give kisses all the time.
They have the run of the kitchen at different times and are put down for naps just like babies. They do need to rest at various times of the day because they are still infant puppies, they are well socialized with kids and cats and will be your friend if you are the playful type, they just simply love lots of attention.they are uptodate on all shots and wormings and are all current on vaccination
i attaced pictures of the puppies to your email
shipping includes tax, insurance, and the carrier that the puppy is shipped
in.
I will include with shipment of each puppy is its certified health certificate,
vaccination and worming record, copy of USDA paper, AKC registration
application for the puppy, its pedigree, tips on care and training your
puppy, and your puppy's guarantee.also the airline ticket, an approved carrier with a soft, comfortable bed, health certificate from my vet, a puppy pack including sample food your pup has been eating, a tube of nutri-cal,I also include a special gift to your puppy from me.Everything you will need will be taped to the top of your puppy's carrier.the total cost of shipping and handling one of the puppies is $250.
as you know i have a lot of people that are interested in adopting the puppies so let me know when you intend to send payment and your contact details for immediate processing.
God bless you.
Amber

The wording in certain paragraphs is identical. It is definitely a scam! I have NO DOUBT, it is a scam, because I fell for it.
If you want to, just for the heck of it , copy this and email it with a brief explanation to the Dr. Phil show. I know this sounds crazy, but just last week the focus of his show was internet scams, especially from Africa. He asked for any information about any type of internet scams from Africa, because supposedly this is an issue the Dr. Phil show is seriously getting involved in. I do not know whether anything will come of it or not. Only because there are so many other internet scams from Nigeria that produce much bigger profits than selling of dogs. But you never know. I sent my story to Dr. Phil. Any type of crack down on any Nigerian internet scams will be a big improvement.
